Polly's Pies

OMG!  Why don't we have any Polly's Pies in Los Angeles or in the San Fernando Valley!?!??!?!?  Best Service and Awesome Food!!!  My friend recommended to my sister and I the peach pie from this place. Yesterday we were going home from doing the Komen Cancer walk at 7:30 am in Newport beach, we decided we needed to fuel up on breakfast and my sister remembered our friend's recommendation.  We  stopped by to find a full house, the wait time was about 5 minutes, the hostess was attentive and professional as were ALL the other staff members.  I ordered eggs Benedict, as usual, and my sister, as usual, ordered ham and eggs.  I saw the waiters coming by with cinnamon rolls the size of my head and I decided to order one as well.... oh what gooey goodness!  They served it WARM with a side of butter, ohh it was heaven in my mouth.  Soon our food came out and it was delicious. I especially loved the hash browns!  Have you ever had hash browns from the ghetto east coast Waffle House?  well... they were up there with those!  I ate them all!  and I'm not one that eats all of the hash browns.  The eggs Benedict were soooo perfectly cooked too.  My sister ordered her ham and eggs with a sourdough... I had a bite of sourdough; it was soooo crusty it almost cut my mouth, delicious!  I tried their homemade 5 berry jam; to-die-for!  I was so excited to learn that  they sold both their homemade sourdough and jelly!  YAY!  we took some home.  Can't wait to have some toasted sourdough with jelly tonight!
